KIDS: Handmade crowns

Prudent baby whipped up these adorable handmade crowns made out of fabric. Perfect for a princess Halloween costume or for dress up any day of the week. I love that she has a link to the free downloadable crown templates she used and that the crowns will keep their shape for years to come!

BABIES: DIY shark costume

Somehow I have a feeling that baby might not love this costume, but it is just about the cutest/ funniest thing I’ve ever seen and absolutely perfect for a crawling baby! Dear Goodness does not have the DIY shark costume tutorial on her blog, but I bet making it with felt would be the easiest! Or heck just find a large shark doll and attach it to baby, ha!

BIKES: Bike decorations

You can put a costume on anyone or anything, right?! Sometimes you need to spruce up your bike for a parade or heck, just for fun! The Crafting Chicks discovered a really easy way to make flags that easily come on adn off of your front tire. All you need are straws and duct tape! These red, white, and blue ones are perfect for the 4th of July, but you can make them in any color that duct tape comes in, fun!

HOUSE: DIY ghosts for trees

I made these fun little DIY ghosts out of wire hangers, plastic bags, and black paint. Super easy (free!) way to spruce up the front of your house for Halloween! They are flat and store nicely too. You can hang them in trees or stick them in bushes year after year. See the full tutorial on C.R.A.F.T.

Homemade by Jill put together this super cute baby Halloween costume and (minus the felt boom box) it’s really easy! All you need is a pink onesie, tights, headband, and leg warmers to turn baby into a DIY aerobic instructor! That felt boombox is just about the cutest thing I’ve ever seen (minus the baby)!

KIDS: Handmade zebra costume

This is a no sew zebra costume, y’all! Baby Gizmo crafted this awesome handmade zebra costume out of a black hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants, duck tape, and craft foam. I think it would be super cute to have the fam dress up as the zoo, you could have a zebra, lion, tiger, panda and an elephant! Cute!

HOUSE: Tree eyeballs

Costumes for your house and yard are so fun for Halloween! Here’s a really easy way to spook up your trees. Just add giant white balloons to your trees. Draw black pupils on the white balloons with a sharpie marker and a smaller white dot with card stock. (You can find giant balloons on Amazon!)

COUPLES: I love Lucy costumes

Lovely indeed whipped up these Ricky and Lucy costumes from I Love Lucy! The suit and tie for Ricky is a must and Lucy must have the iconic hairstyle, apron, red lip stick, and those perfectly arched eyebrows! Then, just craft up a heart sign that says, “I Love Lucy”, just in case the party goers are still a little confused.

HOUSE: Cookie monster costume

It’s a Halloween costume for your garage!  If you’re house is blue then this is a super awesome idea… but I think the cookie monster effect would still be pretty awesome on any colored house and garage!  Just use poster board for the eyes and you could use chalk instead of paint to make the brown cookie. That way the cookie is not permanent! Then use felt for the chocolate chips!
